The finishing touch... it's Game Changer between what's good and what's excellent. And that is exactly what the Smart Finish on our race plates does!
Our patented advanced and unique foot surface design. The inside edge of the foot surface is seated-out to avoid sole pressure. The rest of the foot surface is covered with small lines to give the plate grip against the foot. At the same time the heels are left smooth, which allows natural expansion at the heels when the foot is weight bearing.

SAVE EDGE DARK HORSE

The Dark Horse Rasp is a hybrid between the Save Edge Original Rasp and the Save Edge 14” Beast Rasp. The Dark Horse is 10% wider yet light and balanced, making it more efficient to use. With a larger working surface, The Dark Horse helps improve leveling, control and efficiency. Both sides are designed to remove more material easier with a feature that provides less clogging and longevity of the rasp. The Dark Horse is a must have tool!

Imagine... there was a nail that was sharp, precise, drives fluently, clenches strongly and not to mention has a hardened nail head that slows down the wear process. This unique Kerckhaert technology changed the game completely for horses that often stand on harder or sandy surfaces. The nail head is hardened locally allowing the nail to wear more evenly with the horseshoe. Precise heat control keeps the nail strong and prevents it from losing tensile strength. The transition from traditional steel hardness to the hardened nail head is gradually, so there is no breaking point.
