Good hoof trimming starts with effective rasping and filing and that is where the new Diamond Max Glide rasp gives a solid answer. The innovative and unique manufacturing process of the Diamond Max Glide creates a high-quality finished rasp and file that easily flattens and finishes the hoof with little effort. The design of this rasp is more than 1 per cent wider than the standard and nicely balanced from the base. The larger working surface gives simplicity in work. The rasp side is made up of rows of 9 long-lasting sharp teeth that are slightly smaller. This allows the rasp to remove a lot of horn material in one movement with minimal pressure on the blade. The tooth pattern prevents clogging of the rasp and thus deploys to efficiently and smoothly heighten and flatten the hoof and hoof wall. The file side is designed with a chip breaker that ensures you can file smoothly without clogging the file with hoof material. This way, the file maintains its optimal action with every movement. The Max Glide smoothens the hoof surface with ease and effectiveness. In addition, the sharp sides of the rasp are also great for a precise finish.
