The DF horseshoe with a Scandinavian touch

The DF Special is specially developed for Scandinavia and therefore very popular in these countries. Along with its strong DF properties, this front shoe is known for its nice fit that requires little adjustment during Scandinavian shoeing.

The DF Special is the horseshoe model within the DF Collection that responds to the Scandinavian shoeing. The toe section is shaped slightly straighter and the branches run straighter downward. The Radius toe clip is formed from additional material that allows the clip to taper nicely along the outside of the horseshoe. The asymmetrical V-shaped creases on the shoe have clean nail holes with correct pitch and coarseness. The ideal fit for a convenient shoeing that requires little adjustment. The horseshoe is also designed so that the exact 22x8 models in sections 3x and meet the FEIF requirements to compete in Icelandic horse competitions.
