The European all-round sliding horseshoe

This is the traditional steel training plate for trotters, race horses and yearlings. The perfect concave design gives optimum grip and is creased all the way round to the heels. The light concave steel section, 15x7, gives good cover and support without adding extra weight.

The DR 15x7 steel rece plate is a high quality drop forged shoe, ideal for a selection of different horses. It can be used both for training or racing in different disciplines and is also perfect for yearlings being prepared for the sales ring. The design of the section gives excellent grip and increases the support to the hoof. The sloping heel design allows close fitting to the hoof. Special attention is given to the crease and nail holes to ensure the correct position and pitch for the nail to enter the hoof, reducing damage to the hoof wall and keeping the clenches tight.
