Due to this adjusted crown, the horseshoe lasts a little longer and the horse also gets a little more grip. This copper JC horseshoe nail is a classic E-nail where the nail head is slightly larger and fuller and the shank is slightly longer and thinner. Ideal for a shoe where you want to give a little more grip to the horse and wear resistance to the horseshoe. The copper coating of this nail optimally protects the hoof during the entire shoeing cycle.
