DF Quarter
The DF Quarter is a front shoe with quarter clips. The placement of the clips between nail holes two and three provides a nice positioning on the hoof and can contribute to improved locomotion for the horse. The variety of sections and sizes combined with the familiar Radius clips and Kerckhaert fit make this horseshoe convenient to use and requires little additional forging.

The DF Quarter horseshoe is a standard DF horseshoe where the clips are at the quarter position of the shoe. The familiar Radius clips with sufficient material at the base are at the level of nail holes two and three and run nicely along the outside of the shoe. In addition, this shoe optimises the horse's balance and locomotion by bringing the hoof slightly forward if necessary. This makes it very suitable for horses whose hoof position (e.g. flat feet) needs to be corrected. The V-shaped crease with nail holes that have a correct pitch provides a good fit that requires only minimal adjustment during the shoeing period. Available in various sizes and sections with 8mm and 10mm thickness.
