The DF horseshoe is the basic shoe within the DF Collection. This popular front and hind shoe has a nice fit that effortlessly responds to the hoof characteristics of the left and right hoof. The well-known Radius clip on this horseshoe tapers nicely with plenty of material at the base.

This basic shoe within the DF Horseshoe family is very popular worldwide. The horseshoe was developed from the SN horseshoe family, but has the well-known Radius clip. This Radius clip runs entirely on the outside (Radius) of the shoe and has plenty of material at the base. Thus, any adjustments made during the shoeing period do not affect the quality of the support and the clip. The horseshoe has Kerckhaert's familiar left and right fit and thus requires little additional forging to achieve quality shoeing. The DF horseshoe is available as a front shoe with toe clip and hind shoe with side clips that are placed nicely against the hoof wall. The design of the exact 22x8 hind shoe in the 3x and sections also meets the FEIF requirements to compete in Icelandic horse competitions.
