This hammer has a durable nylon hammer head and a sturdy steel handle. Its design where the head is filled with fine sand prevents the hammer from rebounding when striking. This recoil damping redudes the striking vibration which is better for the arms and joints. After the nylon heads wear out, you can easily replace them.
