The Liberty FJ horseshoe nail has translated all the strong properties of Liberty into a standard horseshoe nail for racing plates in aluminium or steel. The fit of this nail has a perfect balance between head, neck and blade so that you can easily nail with precision to secure the horseshoe to the hoof. In addition, this steel nail has a very smooth finish. The strong and sharp point of the nail has a correct bevel that guides the nail into the right place with minimal pressure on the hoof wall. Size is also available as a SLIM to nail where the shank is thinner and longer to allow for higher nailing.
